A very scary week with the IndyMac bank (IMB) failure (see chart above) and Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE) on the road to some sort of federal bailout scheme. Next week it will be interesting to see if there is any good earnings news and if that news can help stabilize the market.
